Hot Glass Hangouts is a free glassblowing demo series starring our multi-talented team of Studio Technicians.

See the skills and teamwork that go into shaping molten glass, meet friendly local artists, and shop a pop-up Studio Sale featuring beautiful glassware crafted by UrbanGlass artists and staff. Seltzer and snacks are on the house.

If you’d like to support more free programs at UrbanGlass, please purchase a $10 ticket. All proceeds from ticket sales and 30% of Studio Sale purchases help support accessible programming at UrbanGlass (70% of Studio Sale purchases goes directly to the artists).

School Notes:

Preparing for class

It is recommended that students bring notebooks and water bottles to in person classes. All basic materials and supplies needed for the class will be provided. If students wish to use specific tools or materials not supplied in class they are responsible for obtaining these items themselves.

Studio Attire

For your safety, protective eyewear must be worn at all times in all areas of the UrbanGlass Studio. We will provide appropriate eyewear for your use. Appropriate work clothes are also required. Flammable or synthetic fabrics, sandals and open-toe shoes are not allowed. Long hair must be tied back.

Refund Policy

Enrollment cancellations made outside sixteen (16) days from the first day of class are eligible for a refund less a 5% processing fee. Refunds will not be granted for any cancellations made inside sixteen (16) days from the first day of class, or for withdrawals during class.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
