Learn to make this classic Indian dish of spicy lamb curry with onion, ginger, garlic, and other aromatic spices.
This class is a feast and offers many dishes that one wont regret trying. Starting off with the appetizer, we will make onion fritters. It simple and delicious, nothing can top these little balls of fried onions dipped in chutney.
After our appetizers, we will begin making our main course, lamb vindaloo, a hot and spicy dish form the Goa region of West india. It is a popular dish in Indian restaurants and is often made with chicken, lamb, vegetables, etc. Since vindaloo is hot and spicy, it is often served with raita. We will learn to make both, lamb vindaloo and raita; raita is a relish dish made with cucumbers mixed in yogurt and spices. The cool, milky taste of yogurt along with the refreshing taste of the cucumbers will cool you down from the lamb vindaloo.
For anyone who loves spicy, this next dish is perfect for you, spicy tangy kadhai chicken. It’s spicy, it’s tangy, and it’s simple; the chicken is marinated in chili spice powder and a whole lot of other spices giving you a rollercoaster of flavors. Finishing off our dinner meal, we will be making carrot halwa, a Indian dessert pudding.
